- The direct flight to San Francisco airport was without delays. We used an Uber, and the drive gave us a nice view of the bay. Within 30 minutes, we reached the hotel. I chose this one because it was located near the famous Fisherman's Wharf.
- We arrived early. After arranging our stuff in the drawers, we looked down from our 3rd floor balcony. We could see the water. It was a fantastic view from up there. We went down to stroll on the wharf. Many people, mostly tourists, were walking around like us. We watched the many sea lions sun tanning on the rocks and ate lunch at the Crab House on Pier 39. We got lucky to sit by the window facing the marina. Gail ordered crab fried rice and I took crab enchiladas. We added a chardonnay. The seafood was delicious. With our stomachs full, we continued strolling, and enjoyed the beautiful day. Mom checked several hats and looked funny in them. I shot pictures of her with some of the hats. She laughed. Seeing her so unstressed and cheerful was awesome. After 2 hours of walking, it was time to go back to the hotel.
- We checked the game room. The ping pong table was free. I suggested we play a game.
